Away Status
When I go afk for +5 minutes my status change in Away after 5 mins, when I come back the status it remains Away and I have to change my status in online. Every steam update is updated
I dont want to uninstall and install the steam again because I have many games installed and I do not want to lose anything ...
Is there another solution to fix that?

I have exactly the opposite issue.

I have NEVER set my account to "Online", quite the contrary. For some arbitrary reason, Steam keeps setting it back to "Online" when I haven't selected that in years... yet several times a day, I have to set it back to "Away" because it WILL NOT STAY to what I have selected.

Means there is currently no solution, uf, :steamsad:
For me this started to behave weird in the last 2 weeks, I noticed that in these 2 weeks there were several updates to Steam software

Apart from maintenance, if you set it to online and then away at each start, it stays on away.

Right up until it randomly changes to "Online", yes.

I have this problem as well. I want to stay Away until I am ready to change it. Just because I'm at my computer doesn't mean I'm ready to talk to anyone.

There is a way to simulate the good old BUSY status they took away from us:

Setup a Service that will call "steam://friends/status/away" every second, so you are max online for a second. Tho Steam will still set you back from away to online when you return to the computer after some time. But with that approach you will not forget to have it set back to AWAY after one second.

Keep in mind, that this should only be done when Steam is running, otherwise it will start Steam. :)
