What are the chances my EYE Divine Cybermancy Jian emoticon gets sold?

I got a doop emoticon for the second level badge, the same as the first level when crafting the cards together. So I put the doop up on the market at 5 cents, the minimum for sales, and noticed none were sold in a long while. Will the fact that an item like this one, this one specifically that hasn't been bought off the market in a long while, will get propelled upward in searches so people will notice it and buy it, it theoretically being more unique for the fact of not having made a sale in a long while?

There are in fact 97 on the market. The emoticons for this game are all about 5 cents.

The item is accessible to anyone. Anyone can buy that item regardless of whether they own/played the game before or not.

A'ight. I guess this is how the Steam market and its items work? A game is released and enough players play it and unlock random items and those items make it to the market for others to get specific ones they missed out on? It's interesting if some items eventually become unavailable being that rare lapse of players leaving a game and items stagnating on their accounts. Is that possible?

If there's demand and limited supply, sure. One or the other alone doesn't cut it though.

OK, I get that part, but perhaps I wasn't clear enough. Not that the entire current base of players leaves the game and the items are stuck on their account, but that no new players, a very rare occurrence or perhaps not, come to the game and unlock items and put them on the market, therefore it may be possible to miss out on items for those incredibly obscure games. EYE not being one of them though.

Yes, I suppose if no one plays a game it can be hard to get all those dinky items that might exist.
