some friends can't see my wishlist

some friends can't see my wishlist

I've found a bug where a few of my friends can't see my game list / wishlist. (some can, others can't). My privacy settings is set to FRIENDS ONLY. This is really weird because it's not even possible to only hide the wishlist. I have to set my profile completely to public for them to see my wishlist. Is this a known "bug"?

I haven't seen that occur, so I can't say it's a bug.

I've checked a few other friends' profiles, which are private and the wishlist does appear.

Are your friends (the ones whom don't see the WL) sure where to check?

yes. the friends can see my wishlist when everything is set to public. It disappears for them when I set the game list to "friends only" - as if they would not be on my friend list.

Ask one of those users to check via the direct link.

They have to be logged into Steam, just as a reminder.

If it's possible, let them take a screenshot of what they see on your profile.

I just tested this via the client beta and seems to be a beta issue.

Ask your friend(s) if they're opted into Steam beta.

I am and i just checked, and the wishlist tab doesn't seem to appear, but it does on my Chromium web browser.

Made a bug report.

Came here to look for help with the same thing. Just moved, not logged in for a week, I come in and Cant see MY achievements, game time, wishlist.. I can see my friends, just not my own.. OKAY, THIS is too stupid for words. I just logged into the browser to get here, right, .... Now I look at the Client and Can see it all.

So far it seems like IF i log into chrome I can see everything in the client. IF I log out of chrome, its gone again.

Even if you set everything to Public, make sure that you have UNchecked:
"Always keep Steam Gifts private even if users can see my inventory."

I have had this checked for a while thinking that it was just blocking the fact that I got gifted games by other people. Some people were able to access my wishlist during that time, and others weren't. Once I unchecked that part, suddenly everyone was able to see my wishlist again.

I unchecked it too but nothing has changed. I need to make my profile "public" for the "games" tab to be visible. But I want to keep "my friends" only profile.
