Help buying with less than 5$
I have 5$ on my steam account and two prepaid cards both with 4 dollars on them, how do I buy an item in game that costs 6$?? I can't add the cards to my account because they have less than 5$ on them.

Buy that game. Steam will use your Steam wallet and ask your for an additional payment source for the remaining 1$. That's where you'll use one of your prepaid cards.

its in game content, i have the game already and im trying to buy something from within the game, but its not DLC so i cant do it from the steam page. It has to be bought through the game

Well, if Steam doesn't offer you the option to use another card after the first is found to be empty, you're out of options.

I have the card as a payment option but i can't select it because it has less than 5 dollars on it. So can I just not use these cards because they have less than 5$ on them?

You could always buy a $4 game, then refund it to wallet? Though I don't know if that'd be considered abuse.

Why wouldn't it be possible? Select the card as payment at checkout, then when refunding choose wallet as the target?

I'm Canadian... my 2 cards have 4.18 and 4.04... its 4.39 Canadian...

I can not for anything get the specials to show in CAD.

You'll have to go through page by page to find the correct price range. For me it was around page 38.

I found and bought a game that was 4.18CAD with my card that had 4.18CAD then requested refund claiming I bought in on accident, waiting for it now.
