Big picture multi monitor question

I have a dual monitor setup and i'm wondering if it's possible to play games in big picture mode with a controller on one monitor. While using my mouse and keyboard on my desktop doing things on the other monitor. (Not gaming)

Well, to use the controller in-game, you have to have the window selected with the mouse cursor, and when you do this, it will most likely hide the cursor, making the gamepad the primary control source.

It might work in windowed mode, maybe with a third party program, but it would be a lot more trouble than its worth. Probably better to use a tablet or phone or something.

Then again, I've never tried this, so by all means give it a go!
