How do I remove restriction after chaning Steam Guard?
I recently got a new phone and changed my steam guard to that one and confirmed it and everything yet I got a restriction for 15 days.. When I click on remove restriction I get sent to the Steam Guard help page and none of the posts are related to what I'm trying to do..

You can not remove or reduce a restriction once you triggered one.

Did you have the same number?

Can I transfer my authenticator to my new phone?

Yes, you can.

To transfer your authenticator to a new phone, you'll need access to the phone number associated with your account (so we can send you a text message to confirm it's you).

From the Steam Mobile app on your new device, try to log into your account. When the app asks for your authenticator code, select "Please help, I no longer have access to my Mobile Authenticator codes." Follow the steps the app provides and you can either transfer your authenticator to the new device or remove it from the previous device.

After transferring the authenticator, any new trades or market listings will be held for a couple of days to protect your items in case your authenticator is ever transferred by a malicious person. See our Trade Holds FAQ for more information about trade holds.

Nope, if you did a transfer - you wouldn't get a cooldown.

You'd get 2 day holds for a few days.

If you remove the authenticator, then you get a 15 day cooldown.

Or no I didn't press "Please help I no longer have access to my mobile" thing. I logged in on the other phone and swapped over, got a text and entered the code.

It would seem that you removed or disabled guard instead since you have the 15 day restriction.

Important:
Steam Support cannot modify trading or Community Market restrictions, regardless of the circumstances under which your account became restricted.

You can when you add a new card. No idea why you can't when adding a new phone to the same number....................

I have done it multiple times before as I'm a professional at ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ up a phone. I've NEVER gotten this ♥♥♥♥ and I've done the same ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ thing every time and never gotten a restriction.

Yeah, and I've also switched phones and I didn't get a cooldown.

Complaining won't undo it.

If i've done the exact same thing 4 times without a problem and do it the fifth without a warning and get punished for it, isn't that a reason to complaint?
