Get Rid of Steam Big Picture

HOW THE ♥♥♥♥ DO YOU TURN IT OFF?!?!?!

Ever since this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ thing started I haven't been able to use my Saitek X52 flight stick and throttle with Elite Dangerous. I'm ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ DONE with trying to figure this ♥♥♥♥ out. How do I get rid of it?!

Click on the power button to the left of the clock and then "Exit Big Picture."

It IS off, and I still can't use my flight stick.

BPM can not be removed from the Steam client.

.... Well that's a load of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, they ♥♥♥♥ you over so you HAVE to use one of their products or set it up one button at a time in a bunch of tedium.

Your problem isn't caused by big picture.

Go to Settings (normal settings) and controller options and uncheck the checkboxes and your controller should work like normal.

Nope, the options in there take me to BPM.

"Nope"? Unchecking the checkboxes didn't solve the problem?

Or did you see the blue window and said "nope" and walked away from the pc and your stick works the same?

EDIT: click the "general controller settings"

I did and was taken to BPM's controller settings. After about an hour, I decided on a whim to just uncheck everything there and it started working, thank you for the help.
