Question regarding game streaming between XBOX one and Steam
Hi everyone,
I bought PUBG on steam a while ago (quite a while), and while it said the specks of my computer were fine alas they were not. I spent many hours of my life trying to fix it but to no avail. I don't really feel the need to buy it again, but still want to play it, and aside from either buying a better PC (I have a laptop right not), the only other thing to do is to buy the game on XBOX which I don't want to do. They wouldn't let me refund it when I was still in the period in which I was able to, because I had spent "4 hours playing the game", but I was actually unable to get into the game at all, those 4 hours were all spent on the title screen trying to fix it. Fixing it is not the question however, as I am so fed up with trying to fix it that I just can't. I spent so long doing that already lmao.
That's context, here's the question:
If I stream a game from my laptop to my XBOX one through whichever feature it is that allows you to do that, would I be running PUBG on the laptop still? Like would my laptop still be processing the information, and running the game (making me unable to play), or would my XBOX be doing the processing and running of the game? If my PC is running it, is there a way to change that? I know you can't transfer a steam game to the XBOX, I just wanted to know how this would work, aside from wasting another 30$ on a game I already own. I bought it on steam before I knew it was coming out on XBOX just an FYI. I know I could test it out myself, but I figured I'd post it here to see what anyone else had to say instead of wasting my time on something like this.
Thanks so much. :steamhappy:
