Disk Read Error - External Hard Drive
Alright, so, I got this 1TB External Hard Drive from Seagate as a Post-Christmas Present. i've had several game install attempts and failures because of a disk error. Now, i figured out it's because of the external drive disconnecting and reconnecting everytime the install is being verified, Sometimes even when i tried to log into Steam when i had Steam installed on the External Hard Drive.

I've tried everything i know to do regarding fixing the issue (Connect your hard drive to a different USB port, Turn off USB selective suspend, Stop your PC from turning off Mass Storage Device, Disable USB legacy support in BIOS, Use KeepAliveHD), but, nothing has worked. I even repaired the steam folders, deleted the appcache folder, cleared the download cache, changed the download region, etc. the real issue might be in the hdd, but, i'm not sure.

Spreading the word real quick
Thanks, man.
I don't even trust my PC's USB ports as much as I did before they invented the blue ones and those couldn't maintain a connection. How on earth was that an improvement, Microsuck?

Sorry, I'm getting a little touchy. But I guess installing Steam someplace other than a disconnecting external drive might make a temporary solution.
The external hard drive is the only way i can install games, my internal hard drive is only 32 GB
