NOT A SINGLE STEAM GAME OF MINE WILL PLAY
i wanted to play some spore today so i attempted to get on it but all it said was something about a renderer not working and requiring a 32x bit thing so then i tried to get on rainbow six siege and it said that DirectX 11 does not support my graphics card. so i felt that as weird because i have a GTX 1050 Ti and i attempted to update it right after it said this but it said it was up to date so i have no idea what could be going wrong because its happening to every steam game i own

EDIT THE PROBLEM HAS BEEN RESOLVED ALL I HAD TO DO WAS RESTART MY COMPUTER WOW I KNOW RIGHT

What is the rest of your system? Please click the HELP tab at the top of your steam library window, and click SYSTEM INFORMATION. Post the ENTIRE list here.

If you're on windows 10, the fall update broke a LOT of games. If you're on a laptop or have a motherboard with an integrated chipset in addition to the graphics card you have, it may have switched to reading that chipset instead of your graphics card.

I've been having the same issue and I've noticed a couple other related threads. Games outside of Steam are running fine but Steam games launch in background and can't maximize. A recent update seems to have screwed something up for some of us.

Are you on the steam client beta? If so, switch it off?

My Steam games have suddenly started working again. I did nothing to update other drivers. Before this, I did notice that some Steam games that start in windowed mode were working but full screen games were not. As I was putzing around in the Nvidia Control Panel, I was playing with the scaling options but even though I ultimately didn't change anything, the games started working again. Very weird.
