Can't redeem a gift

Hi. A friend gifted me a copy of Night in the Woods but I just get a generic error when trying to redeem it:

"An error was encountered while processing your request:

There was a problem redeeming the gift. Please try again later, or contact Steam Support for assistance."

Any ideas? Thanks!

And click, "It's not in my library."

Thanks but that didn't help unfortunately. It did give me a way to contact support directly though (which Steam makes very difficult to do).

Hi, I have a same problem right now. Did you get your game at least, ervler?

I was getting the same issue today, but it seems the game activated normally despite every time giving me that error.

The link from 999999999 (changing the appid for the one from the game I got) helped confirming that I had successfully claimed the game.

https://store.steampowered.com/account/licenses/ also confirms it by saying I activated the game as a gift today.
