FIX FOR FALLOUT VR AND WINDOWS 10 FALL CREATORS UPDATE!

So i figured out what was causing the massive frame stutters and downright offensive performance in fallout 4 vr. It has to do with the windows 10 fall creators update making changes to directx 12 functionality. Simply revert to an older version of direct x and your performance will be night and day. go to https://www.drivethelife.com/windows-10/fix-directx-errors-after-windows-10-update.html and it will show you how to download the previous direct x platform.

Windows 10 Fall update has been the culprit in a LOT of games not functioning. It's not just fallout vr.

They really screwed up with that one. I'm glad I'm still on 7.

Yea I heard, I wasnt even aware it came out. It just magically appeared on my computer like malware. apparently heading backwards is the new forwards for microsoft. What a time to be alive. Ive been up for countless nights just trouble shooting and trying to get fallout to work, and finally figured this out lol. The all caps was from my uncontainable excitement.

Nice work. I would also suggest you post it in the game's forum. There might be more thats tearing their hair.
This was not the best or brightest update from Microsoft, at least i do not hope this was their pinnacle of perfection.
