mouse lag on new 32" curved samsung monitor

so i just got my new monitor and i connected it through the only hdmi slot and there just doesnt seem any way to fix it ive tried lowering game settings, changing the resolution, and changing settings in ndivia i later then realized it was all happening when i moved my mouse in any game even games that arent from steam like overwtach and fortnite i have a NVIDIA GeForce GT 710 graphics card and the monitor model is a samsung curved monitor cf397, can anyone help?
