Steam account reset?

I opened up my steam and almost all of my games were missing. I uninstalled steam and when I reinstalled it my account was completely blank. No games, no friends, it even made me verify my computer that I've been using for 6 months. I logged in on a friend's computer and it was the same thing. The app on my phone is fine and it's the only reason I'm able to make this discussion. From what I've found no one else has had this problem. I don't want to have to buy hundreds of dollars worth of games again so some suggestions would be much appreciated.

From the account you're posting from right now you own 29 games and have 10 friends.

It is likely that you logged into the wrong account on your actual computer. You can have more than one Steam account with the *same* email address. You would be surprised how many people have multiple Steam accounts and don't know it.

You should, on the phone app.. click the "steam guard" button (at the top where it should say your Profile name: "medsker2569" and then

~~ Click "Steam Guard" .. when you click Steam guard you should see your "changing" Steam Mobile Authenticator code.. BUT below that you should see:

"logged in as"
_____________ <-then a name there

That name is likely NOT "medsker2569"

Use the name you see there (which is your more private account/login name) to log into the proper account on your computer.

Yup that was it. I don't know how because I've never made the other account, or at least i don't remember but thanks for the help

That's human memory for you. We all think we remember everything, but the older you get, the more you run into stories, pictures and other proof that there are large gaps.
