No more Paypal in the US?
I bought a bunch of games just 2 days ago using Paypal, but I wanted to switch to use a different Paypal account. There was no option to add a Paypal account anymore to my account. There was no information about it under SUPPORT, and of course no way to get any help from Steam, as always.

So I deleted my paypal account from my Steam account, supposing that Steam would let me add another Paypal account after I deleted the first one. But it doesn't! There's no way for a US customer to add a Paypal account as far as I can tell. Now I can't pay for anything!

I literally just added money to my Steam wallet using paypal 2 days ago.

That's all you need to do.
Like Zekiran, i am also able to use paypal and add a new paypal account and am in the USA.

So the problem doesn't seem to be for everyone, shagbark.

How come you wanted to change Paypal accounts anyways, OP? What was wrong with the original Paypal account you used 2 days ago? That made it unsuitable to use today?

All i can think of is maybe you change Paypal accounts too often which threw up red "fraud" flags on Steam's system.. so maybe they removed the option for you. If that isn't the case (only you know if you frequently change payment methods), then maybe shut down Steam.. reboot your computer and try again.

OR.. maybe try using Steam through your browser (if you're currently having issues in the Steam client), and see if you can add a new Paypal through your browser. Or... do it the other way. If you're currently having issues adding a new Paypal method using your web browser, then try using the Steam Client and see if you can add a new Paypal account there.

Thanks, but I won't use the Steam wallet because the whole point of the Steam wallet is to rip off customers. It makes you load up your wallet in $5 increments, so that you always end up with a few dollars unused. Valve makes millions this way off customers who either leave the money there, or spend it by buying stuff they didn't really want.

Thanks! I've never changed my Paypal account before. The difference between the accounts is that one has money and one doesn't. I could've just moved the money between the accounts, but now I can't do that either.

I have tried in both the browser and the steam client.

Where are you given the option to add a Paypal account?

I'd upload a screenshot, but can't figure out how.
