logitech mouse lagging in game?

Just got my new logitech G502 mouse for Christmas and was playing around with it. It works fine on the desktop and when browseing on the internet. Then i launched csgo and was gonna play around with the dpi to get it right. Instantly the mouse started lagging and when i went into a match it was almost unplayable. It almost jumps around the place without any smooth movement. Anyone know what ive done wrong or how to fix it? Any help would be greaatly appricated.

Logitech Gaming Software, go install latest version.
Set Polling Rate to 1000
Exit the app fully before launching a game.

Also try verifying the Game cache. I had issues with my G502 recently delayed input of upto 5 seconds and verfiying needed to reaquire 1 file. Then it did the first time playing process and that solved it.
