Purchase limit on Steam?

I am currently buying a game several times over and just ran into a, "It looks like you've been attempting a lot of purchases in the last few hours. Please wait a while before trying again." Error? Why am I not able to stack multiple purchases and then when I want to gift out a game several times am I not able to buy the game? I am literally throwing money at Steam on Christmas Eve and Steam is telling me to Hakuna my TaTas. When am I able to finish my surprise Christmas spree for a dozen of my friends?

You what that? Want that, yeah i know, just being a ♥♥♥♥. Also, there's the ability to dispute things like that. I have the mobile app for verification purposes as well. So how long is this time out? Why am I not able to verify something on the mobile app? and Why werent you actually helpful?

Gifting games requires 1 per transaction in case of refunds. Do you want the entire purchase to be refunded for 1 friend that had issues? You other 9 friends would be mad. Or, be over the 2 hour limit because 1 friend played 10 hours and that transaction can not be refunded.

Lot of garbage words but did you just say there's a 2 hour limit from mass purchases? That's an answer and one that actually helps.

Wait about an hour. The 2 hour thing I was talking about was about refunds ( if you actually read my reply).

Yawp, I think it's about half an hour from the last purchase attempt, or an hour after the first in a set. Was just able to start up again. Thanks a lot! Also didn't know about the quoting part! Bonus!

Pretty Lucky at "Several Purchases". I Purchased 3 Games Individually (in three different purchases) For My Own Account With a "Verified Debit Card" and Hit the Limit, lol :p

Yeah, I literally hit Seven before getting the freeze. Then purchased another 5, might be a monetary factor. The game that I spammed out to a dozen friends was 7 bucks (Human Fall Flat).
