COD WWII Stutter and Framedrops on High-End PC
So i've been playing a lot of Call of Duty WWII the last few days and noticed that it keeps stuttering and has lots of framedrops, mostly on Multiplayer, it happens a lot on Campaign too and little bit on Zombies.

My PC is a beast, GTX 1070, i7 7700k, 16gb DDR4 2400MHz on a 2560x1440 144hz G-Sync monitor, I play at max settings and get 60-120fps on all modes and maps besides the War maps which drop below 60fps sometimes and seem to stutter more. I have currently got the Nvidia driver 388.71, the latest one, the one before it still did this.

I've also noticed the game becomes unplayable due to freezing and stuttering when recording with Shadowplay on both drivers, it comes up in the recording so I can't record gameplay on it either.

I made this discussion as I found other discussions but nobody had a solution and they were all pretty inactive it seems.

How about using gforce experience and monitor?

Try to tweak settings such as resolution,vsync,low/med/high.

I haven't tested different settings myself yet, but i've heard that other people with this issue still get the same results when changing settings that's why I never bothered, I think I will when I get the chance though. I'm using Geforce Experience too.

So it turns out that having it at the lowest settings stopped most of the stutters, meaning that it's caused by a setting, I turned shader preload off and that helped, it's not as bad but still happens. Anything else worth trying?
Hi I had this problem too and I think I found a fix (for now)

I had a mcafee virus protector that would slow down my pc when I would be on the web browser. So I figured maybe it was slowing down my game app. So I uninstalled it in the control panel and now the game runs flawless.

My graphic settings are set at

I have a i5 processor 6th gen

Nvida gtx 1050 graphics card 2GB

Display Mode: Fullscreen

Screen refresh rate:59.94 Hz

Sync every frame: on

Maximum fps:60fps(you can go higher if you want)

Display resolution:1920x1080

Render resolution:Native 1920x1080

Post process anti- aliasing: Filmic SMAA 1X

For the rest of the graphic settings I have them at the lowest settings they will go

And the only thing I have set to "ON" is the Shader preload
