Can't download anything onto my HDD, Steam says I have 0MB avaliable.

Hey.

This problem started happening today. Whenever I try to install a program via steam, it doesn't let me as it says that I have 0mb of space left, when this is really not the case. I have reinstalled steam, which didn't fix it. (Oddly enough.)

However, when ever I plug in my external hard drive, which also has a steam library on it, it allows me to download to my HDD. But whenever I unplug it, the problem comes back.

Any help is appreciated :)

Same here! I tried clearing download cache and it didn't help :( Using single SSD, 30+ gb free space, says I have 0 MB free when I try to download a puny little game

I seemed to have fixed this, somehow. I did what I did above, (created a second steam library on my external hard drive), then rebooted my pc. I then deleted the 2nd steam library and it then seemed to work. Hope this helps :)
