There was an error loading the content of this EULA.
When prompted to agree to the EULA for a newly purchased game all I can see is "There was an error loading the content of this EULA." Is there another way to view the EULA before I accept?

Please advise. Thanks in advance.

Sometimes you can find it on the right side of the game's store page, in a little yellow box.

Requires agreement to a 3rd-party EULA

Thanks. I tried that but the same notification came up?

What specific game is it? Why not just check the publisher's or game's website, as that should have that information.

If it's unable to show you that page, it may be because steam sales clog everyone's bandwidth and might clear up over time. It might also be because the page is missing entirely from their website if it is an older game or a publisher that no longer is really around.

The game is 'Sid Meiers Civlization V', so it is an old game. I visited the publisher's website, Take-Two Interactive, and found the Terms of Service and EULA there. Am I safe to assume that by clicking 'I Agree' on the Steam pop-up that I am accepting the terms of the agreements found on the publisher's website?

Thank you for all the help so far!

Yes. They are one in the same. Their EULA on Steam has been acting up for a while now.
