how good is a GTX-1060?
im thinking about getting one for christmas, but i dont know how effective it is. how will this effect my gameplay? i mean, i have a potato computer that runs subnautica at 10 fps on lowest settings, lets say that i get the GPU, how much fps would it give me, would it boost it by a lot? im just wondering.

Kind of depends of your cpu too. 1060 is a very good gpu but your cpu could bottleneck it if your cpu is old and bad. It would still boost your fps though.

if ur case is big enough, then do it, but then you'll have to concern about all the other stuffs, like overheating bla bla bla, also, ur gaming perfermance will not really increase if the GPU is a GTX 1080 Ti but the processer is a intel core centrino running on a windows 2000 pro, you get it rgt?

The GTX 1060 is a solid card. Can run many games on max settings at 1080p. Acceptable choice for 1440p as well, but not quite powerful enough for 4K.

CPU bottlenecking (as well as RAM and motherboard PCIe lanes) would definitely be a concern if your system is very old.
4K is for weeabos
