Schedule delivery option for giftcard missing.
From documentation I see that there should be a Schedule delivery. option when buying giftcards. But I can not find it. Where should it be?

I see no option to schedule a delivery date for them. I thought they were instant.

Games can be sent at a later date though.

Strange, why not have same options for giftcard as for game. Guess I will have to come up with another gift.

I know this is an old thread, but it's one of the top search entries to come up when I was looking into this and thought I would save others from hunting around like I had to do...

You can buy digital download as well as physical steam gift cards on Game Stop's website, I was not able to find the digital version anywhere else, and most of the other retails wouldn't even ship the physical ones they were for pickup/instore purchase only. If you go the digital download method with Game Stop the code is then emailed to you instead of the recipient of the gift. Which you can then forward to them via email or print and give it as a physical card or something.

Sadly, Steam's own interface has no method for scheduling or performing a delayed delivery of a gift card, which I found odd.

It's 2021 now, and there's still no option to schedule a gift card. Why wouldn't they allow that?

I was able to at the beginning of the year. It's no longer an option? Wtf steam? Why was the option removed?
