Did Steam stop XBOX 360 Controller Support?
Hello,

I just wanted to play some games over Steam and suddenly in every game, the XBOX 360 Controller does not work. I tried AC3, Far Cry 4 and The Witcher 3, but all 3 games just do not react to my Controller. If I try games I don't have in Steam like FIFA 18 or AC:Unity it works fine.

Do you also have this issue or maybe a solution?

I found that I had to turn 'off' steams traps to the controller to get 'some' games to work. .

Have you tried that yet.? Worked for me.

EDIT:

Under controller settings.. and then unselect Configuration support.

Hope it works for you.

@RedLightning

I also just found the option you mentioned in your EDIT part. And it worked...I just didn't think that the option would be hidden that deep in the settings menu because I think there are millions of people playing with a non-Steam or XBOX 360 Controller and 90% do not have the knowledge to configure a controller...well it works. THANK YOU

Your welcome. I'm glad that my headache helped you out. :) I love the xbox 360 controller.

I have a 360 controller and also a Xbox One controller and I actually prefer the 360 controller.
