Report a translation problem
1. Open a game (Doesn't matter which game).
2. ALT + TAB and restart the download from steam menu.
3. Left the game downloading and leave your pc on that game's menu, the one you opened first.
4. Walk away, have some cake, and the see if it worked.
This is a really bad idea if you're the one paying for energy bills.
Running a 3D environment doubles or maximizes power consumption if they're on gaming hardware. So instead of a 50-80 watt usage, they would go to numbers around the wattage of their power supply if they maxed out their settings.
Instead, a better idea is to disable hibernation on HDD's (in advanced settings) and only use screensavers.
