My PC is running unusually slow HELP

Hey so my Mid range pc that is usually great has been running dreadfully slow lately. Usually I get 150-200 FPS max settings in csgo but over the last few days Iv been getting no higher than 25 on low settings. (This isn’t just CS exclusive) please help thank you.

Specs
CPU: Amd fx6300 6core
GPU: Amd rx480 8gb (sapphire)
PSU: 550 Corsair
MOBO: 970 gaming msi

did you change anything on the PC or just replaced the PC or connected anything new? How are the GPU and CPU tempratures in games (you can sue MSI Afterburner, NZXT CAM, HWMonitor, Corsair Link... to monitor).

There are a couple things you could try: clean out the interior, especially if you are using a laptop, restat your comp if you haven't recently, make sure no windows updates are being downloaded. You could also just open task manager and see if anything is taking a particularly high amount of your cpu

a laptop neither uses neither a FX-6300 or a RX 480. Also a 550W Corsair surely doesnt fit into it...Windows updates downloades make the internet temporarily slow not the entire PC. Task Manager is a real bad monitoring tool...

unless it is a virus (it not entirely fits into the symptoms) it could be a hardware issue espacially with the FX overheating by a faulty CPU cooler in example. Tempretures would give an information about it.

On hwmonitor it says my CPU packets are running at 7 degrees C. it also says my GPU is only using 0.0001V of voltage. if this helps.

yea i know i think i may need a new cpu
