Games running suddenly running slow, why?
So just to be upfront I'm not very computer savvy so if there is a simple fix, don't hate me okay? The title says it all really. Everything was going fine than one day all of my Steam games suddenly start running super slow. Even on the lowest settings possible they are basically unplayable. Only games on steam though for some reason. The last time this happened it was because of a windowes10 update and all I had to do was uninstall the update. Tried that again but this time no such luck. So what should I do here? Can anybody help me out here?

What exactly are you attempting to RUN on something that slow with an onboard chipset for a graphics device? Also: that driver is woefully out of date, but that shouldn't surprise you since it's a pretty low end laptop at this point.

This is more than likely a windows 10 update issue. It's not a Steam change.

Mostly simulations like CIV IV, Jurassic world evolution ect. Yeah I know that I`m basically trying to use a rock here, it was a budget purchase and my best option at the time.

Have they run well before this time? I mean I can't imagine they would lol but if you reduce their settings quite a bit they ought. It's just that the processor is SUPER slow, usually games even 5 or 7 years ago required a higher-than 2.0 ghz speed.

Yes they were running fine even in the high settings believe it or not. Now I put everything as low as I can and there is no difference in performance.

It helped me to purchase an SSD & create symbolic links to it for all of my strategy games (Civ 5 & 6, CK2, EU4, etc).

I am curious about the following: "OS Install Date: Dec 31 1969" & "Driver Date: 12 18 2017" & the possible possible impact of it.

The OS is just an OEM thing. Driver date definitely bothers me lol. It means that the driver's 2 years out of date.

Maybe you should install an actual video driver for that Intel videochip instead of that placeholder for pretty basic functionality.

OS install date is irrelevant. Driver date is kinda relevant, but not really. The main reason is the "Basic Render Driver" which Windows uses if it can't find something else.
