Steam is redirecting me to another site
This just happened yesterday and continues today that every time I try to go to my Steam profile it redirects me to facebook for some reason. I don't mean redirecting me to facebook on my browser. I mean it redirects me to facebook where my profile should go. It still has the steam layout like my library, community and whatnot but it shows facebook where my profile should be. I can still acess and see my profile but I have to go through my activity and click from there. Otherwise if I click directly on my avatar it sends me to facebook. Anybody having this problem?

If you're being redirected, then I'd recommend scanning your computer because that isn't normally suppose to happen. I've never heard of that before, so I'm banking on malware of some sort on your PC.

I have same problem. Are you solve issue? ADWcleaner don't find anything. Can you write instruction what to do, and, if you can, please give me more info about that malware, family, signature etc.

You used the latest adwcleaner and it didn't work? reboot and everything? Regular malwarebytes.com also?

If you never removed any bad stuff at any point then keep trying. If you removed stuff but the problem is still there then try to download the steam installer again and reinstall on top of your existing install.

If you have problems where your PC is still infected then you should ask in the malwarebytes forum, they have a guide how to do that properly: https://forums.malwarebytes.com/topic/9573-im-infected-what-do-i-do-now/

I solved the problem, I'll write as for those who will encounter the same.
First, viewing the traffic dump and I realized that the fb page was real and not phishing.
Secondly, a fullscan by adwcliner and kaspersky did not give any results. They said that everything is fine.
Thirdly, in the same dump it was clear that the transition to the address of the steam profile does not happen at all, fb is immediately loaded.
The simle cleaning of the cache and cookies of steam (application) helped :)
