Good Survival Games?

Reccently i have been playing the long dark, and i am wondering are there any good hardcore survival games. I dont mean ♥♥♥♥ like dayz or rust, but games where survival is your top priority.

Hmm, Project Zomboid is a good option. I'd also recommend 7 Days to Die, maybe Kenshi, Sheltered may also be interesting to you, and finally, We Happy Few.

If you don't care too much about graphics, UnReal World is an excellent option! You can buy it off Steam, but you can go to their website to get it for free. I used to play that all the time.

I'd put both Don't Starve and UnTurned high on this list. (UnTurned IS FTP, a genre I often avoid like the plague since I abhor microtransactions. But this one is good and can be either single player or MP. And though I got a free upgrade, I've not tried my copy of Don't Starve Together yet which as you may have guessed, adds an MP element as well.)

I personally would not recommend Sheltered. I've played it to completion in terms of achievements and know it fairly well. The game does not live up to its promise. Once you get over some specific speed bumps, the game turns into a micromanagement mess.

I've not checked in on Project Zomboid in a few years, but their early build, prior to being on steam, was fun though incomplete.
