Thanks. Some of these are out for me but Vanishing of Ethan Carter-is it jumpy/horror at all?
Same with Dear Esther-anyone know if thats remotely jumpy?
Thx

Shelter 2 looks a possibility-any thoughts?

Thanks for finding that-exactly the kinda thing. Reviews look a bit dodgy but will check it out. Again thanks-appreciate it.
Ah...requires VR. Nvm. Good pick though, and it has controller support.
If you have a Samsung phone, you should check out the GearVR. It's only like 90 bucks and it's basically an Occulus Jr. It's actually made by Occulus.
If you don't, there are a wide variety of quality Google Cardboard headsets, compatible with a wide variety of iPhones and Androids. And they have a massive library of applications. You may need to do a little research on a decent headset.
My personal favorite (for the GearVR, also available for Cardboard) is Netflix. It makes your TV like the size of a massive wall and you can watch it sitting down or laying down and looking up at the screen. It's like your own personal movie theater.
AMAZING Graphics with good racing and an open world.
Something from a different angle: how about a turn based sports game? I don't know how long you're likely to be laid up for, but it does go on special regularly. The older versions are cheaper and still usable, but not as good with the graphics.

Also, this is a hoot. Basically, a narrated first person exploration game. It's short, but a lot of fun and getting the achievements are an adventure of their own.

But definitively, I wouldn't buy Blood Bowl 2 yet. Perhaps the UI is not a mess like in Blood Bowl 1, but Cyanide usually resells the same game, to the same customers with just a bit of additional content to justify the new version. For instance, I had Blood Bowl 1, and had to buy the Legendary Edition to be able to play online. So yeah, their marketing strategy is abusive.
lets you really escape into another world
