Looking for really chill games, preferably with really nice graphics and controller support
Hi guys,

Unusual request maybe-I am disabled and bedbound, and can only use a controller to play games at the moment (before everyone boards the 'mouse and keyboard rulez' train).

Also because of my condition I can only really play chill games now that dont require much thought or stress.

Some games which have fitted this recently are Firewatch, ABZU for sure, and maybe Ark on singleplayer but its a bit involved, though awesome. The Forest again, but on veganmode :D

Stuff like TLD while good are too stressful.

So I guess meditative type games. And as a lover of PC hardware if it looks good that would be a bonus.

Must have controller support.

Bit of a tough task I know but putting it out there. Would love to and have games like BF1 but they make my condition worse.

Thanks

So, you'd like to have Calm games, that are Sandbox, or with Battles?

Well here is what i have for now...
"Insurgency" , It's a battle game, it reminds me of Squad, but doesn't have as many things on the Screen like Call of Duty or Battlefield , it reminds me OF Battlefield 1 and Squad

"DayZ Standalone" Survival game, isn't super fast paced and looks nice, can be glitchy due to the fact that it is in Alpha i believe.

"ArmA 3 Life Mods or Takistan Life" It can be aidsy , but it will be fun.

"Chivalry Medieval Warfare" It's beautiful. I love it so far.

besides, Chivalry is cheap, and Insurgency is 1.99 :)
I Hope this helps..
I Am not sure about the Xbox 360 Controller or any controller support, it will be tough figuring that out..

Make sure to update me if you'd like any more help..

Best of Luck,
Cicada,

Hi Cicada,

Thanks for the reply.

Dayz I would like but its far too intense, Chivalry I enjoy but again the battles are a bit too intense atm.

So I guess pretty passive, non adrenaline esque stuff.

Abzu worked well, Journey would if it were PC based, and I love a chilled survival game but thats kina paradoxical.

Proteus was cool but not keen on art style.

No mans sky type etc.

Probably a tough ask.

try life is strange first ep is free

Thanks guys-keep them coming.

Early access is fine too.

Whilst I think about a game to sugest, consider the fact that the easiest mode in The Long Dark makes animals ignore you* and also the game is easier in general.

Oh, Sorry for not being able to understand your question correctly!

Well here are a few games i'd suggest.

http://store.steampowered.com/app/314160/
It's a flight simulator, it's really relaxing , but can get boring really quickly, so i'd recommend this:

And this:

Sometimes Simulators aren't the best things, so here are a few extra relaxing games:

Look, i know this sounds funny, but Grand Theft Auto V can be really relaxing if you don't do as many crimes or kill many people, just drive randomly, do many chill things, get like a Cop mod, or a Real life mod..

Oh, and check these games too!...

And this i think is a relaxing game!

Portal 2 usually doesn't require to solve puzzles in a rush (except on certain stages during the main story), plus there's an almost infinite number of player-made chambers in the workshop

Cities Skylines perhaps doesn't support a controller. At least, they don't say that in the store on the right pannel, where it says Single Player

But in case you get a Mouse+Keyboard it's one of the games I would suggest

Its cool, thanks for your reply. I will check these out. Truck simulator 2 keeps coming up a lot so might be a good one.

Cities skylines-if only controller support. Same with Anno.

Miscreated chill? Thought was a zombie survival?
