Can I get ban on Steam or something while using app that making my Steam yellow?

Steam Moderators have previously advised Steam users not to change your Steam name to gold. This could trigger (future) penalties to your account, which you ought to prevent.

Since this a mysterious thing that lots of people want and the details are fuzzy and complicated it is very convenient for people who distribute steam malware to share files that they is how you get it.

This combined with the fact that you are not supposed to be able to do this are good reasons to avoid this stuff.

Ask yourself how wise it would be to impersonate or appear to be impersonating Steam moderators/staff.

These golden borders have nothing to do with VALVe nor Steam Moderators. Steam Moderators have brownish borders.

It's not for steam staff or moderators, it was for a summer sale a few years back.

It doesn't matter if it's the same color. Yes, it was previously used during a summer sale but colored names are currently reserved only to Steam moderators/staffs or admins in Steam groups. I can practically guarantee people are already trying to use this to appear to be official and scam other users.
