3rd party controller

So i have wii u pro controllers and they arnt from nintendo so i got a adapter for them and xinput maps them to work but for one controller only and i have tried wiinusoft.Please im stuck if anyone knows how to get 3rd party controllers to work on steam games

Not all games support controllers of any kind. Most games which do will support XInput controllers, requiring third-party software if your controller is DirectInput. Some games require controllers be enabled in the settings before they can be used.

So like for ultimate chicken horse the adapter only allowed the controller on xinput how can i fix so all my 3rd party controllers can connect to it

Ive tried x360ce i just get stuck on what to do after i connect them so i connect all 4 as dinput to the adapter and they are all connected but then what do i do

Thank you so much i just have a question can i have multple x360ce.exe in all my games that need it or would it crash it and do i have to have the program running in the background
