Steam profile backgrounds are seeming cropped or chopped on my screen.

I just got a Killing Floor 2 Background and it gets cropped on the sides, can't even see the Perks, which is why I bought the background in the first place.

All backgrounds are designed for 1920x1080, using a resolution lower than that leads to cropping.

Well, you could write a Tampermonkey script to resize the background to your browser window size and view your profile in your browser with Tampermonkey installed.

Same thing happens to me, using 3840X2160. Which:
1°) is certainly not lower than FHD
2°) has the exact same aspect ratio

Any idea?

Change it to Fullscreen, which will scale the image to your resolution.

Did do it, to no avail. Could W10's UI scaling factor (300% in my case) be the issue? Because since 3840X2160 and FHD are 1:1 ratio, a 300% crop factor could entirely bastardize the whole thing...

You'd have to use 200% scaling for FHD on 4k.
