Paypal permission to buy a game
Why can't I just buy a game with PayPal anymore?? Now I need to allow Steam to "charge my PayPal for future purchases"?? What the ...?

On a related note, how can I contact steam support? Is there such thing?

Find a topic that is related to your question. If it's something where contacting support would help then it will have a link to do so. If you're planning to ask support why they require that for Paypal then I would bother asking.

Thank you, but can you give me some more directions? In the first place, I can't find a relevant section to complain about this behaviour, and then all the sections remotely related are a dead end with "Steam can't help you there" and no link to contact support whatsoever..

That option only appears if you explictly check the box "save my payment information" before you go to paypal

If you do not have the box checked you do not receive the prompt to save the information for quick payments afterwards

Thank you, but I don't see any box, I just see

"For your security, you will be required to re-authorize your purchase with PayPal.
If your billing address is not in Portugal, please set your store region preference

You'll have a chance to review your order before it's placed."

OH I GOT IT, thanks for your help guys, it seems that there are actually TWO Paypal payment methods, "My Paypal Account" and just "Paypal". If I use the "My Paypal Account" I have to allow the Steam future payments, if I just use the "Paypal" it works as I want!

On a related note, it should select my latest used payment method no? Was this added recently? There is a way to always have the default payment select as normal "Paypal"?

Thanks guys
