Friends list - offline BUT Profile - online and on a game

On my friends list on the client for steam it says that one of my friends is offline but on my phone steam app it says theyre in a game, i go and check their profile on my pc client and it says theyre on a game and online. and i dont think they get any of my message either as on the client it says that they will get this message when they come back online again. im not sure what to do, if there is any fixes to this problem let me know on this thread or add my profile and explain to me. thanks guys ^^

Most likely your friend set his status manually to "offline". A lot of people do that if they dont want to chat at the moment or being disturbed during gameplay.

This happens when a person who has you on their friends list have blocked you.

Check their friends list, if you are missing then i'm right.

ive checked that and theyre still on my friends list so i dont think that is the problem here >w< ^^

i guess that might be one of them but they never do that, they have never done that since ive known them so who knows

My apologies then.

Thought this is it because i have blocked several people on my friends list myself.
They are gone from mine list but they still see me on theirs, as well as they can't see me online unless they open my profile.

But nevermind, must be some other issue!

i mean i can only hope, its just that they cannot get any of my messages while in the offline state thats all really .-.
