Advice - Benchmarking & System Optimisation
Hi :)
I have built my own gaming PC and just ran Unigine Heaven Benchmark 4.0 (Basic Edition) as wasnt sure which benchmarking product to use.

**My system specs were as follows...

Platform: Windows NT 6.2 (build 9200) 64bit - its basically windows 10
CPU Model: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-6700K CPU @ 4.00GHz (4007MHz) x 4
GPU Model: Nvidia GeForce GTX1080 21.21.13.7633 (4095MB) x 1 (MSI version)

Motherboard is the ASUS VIII Hero and have Corsair vengence LPX 16gb DDR4 3200MHz memory, running off a WD Black 2TB Performance Hard Drive - also have the Samsung 850 EVO 250gb 2.5 inch SSD that i installed my OS onto.

**Settings were as follows...

Render: Direct3D11
Mode: 1920x1080 8xAA full screen
Preset: Custom
Quality: Ultra
Tessellation: Extreme (I have no idea what this is)

**The results came back as follows...

FPS: 113.6
Score: 2862
Min FPS: 34.9
Max FPS: 237.0

I just want to know what i need to be selecting in order to be able to get the best graphics performance out of this card. My screen is awful... its a 27inch, 1920x1080 60hz... am looking into upgrades but i wanted a 4k screen which apparently wont do much if you dont have a 32inch (??) screen or bigger?

I am an RPG girl and enjoy games like The Witcher 3 and I am currently going through a 'detective' phase, lol, so am trying out L.A. Noire... but was hoping the graphics would be a lot better than they are given my graphics card is the best on the market currently ((((long sigh)))) not sure what im doing wrong but really need to learn how to get the best from this set up in terms of graphics and performance.

Any advice would be appreciated :)

Everything on max. There's almost nothing out now that will not run maxed @ 1080p 60Hz with that setup.

LA Noire is an older game. It doesn't look that great by todays standards.

I have a 1080 as well and max everything out at 1440p with high frames.
