How to change payment method?
Hello everyone,

I just put two games on my chart and tried to pay using a 3rd part method (something like a bank slip, very common in my country) direct from Steam (a normal and legal option, just to be clear). But I have to pay an extra tax and wait until 3 days to confirm the payment.

So I want to change the payment method to credit card. Steam says if I don't pay in 3 days they'll send a link to try again the payment, but I don't want to wait too long. I tried to buy again, but I can't do that before my last purchase be confirmed. I don't know how to cancel the "bank slip".

I tried the "help" here, but it doesn't fit my needs.

Is there any Steam's staff here who can help me?

Thanks in advance,
Giovanni.

Maybe it can be canceled here? https://store.steampowered.com/account/history/

Usually on the last page of purchase (the very FINAL confirmation button), you have the option to change payment methods.

(Otherwise, steam would default to my wallet funds, everytime.)

Can't you just outright cancel that transaction instead of changing it? Start over?

Thank you, guys, it's done!

I had tried the page Forcen have suggested, but I couldn't thought to click on the product and find the "cancel this transaction" button. Duuh, pretty stupid LOL.

Click the back button on the payment method screen, choose a different payment method in the dropdown menu.
