GPU for a SFF pc with only 180W psu :x

Hey guys I was all hyped up at someone's reccomendation of gettng a nvidia 750ti low profile card for my SFF little desktop but I see that it recommends at least 300-400w psu.... I was looking at psu prices for sff pc's and they're like $100 compared to normal sized of $30-40! is there any way around this without having to drop another $100 on a psu to power a decent gpu?

A lot of times, these recommendations assume you have other high-power componants in your system, and give more headroom than needed, instead of directly stating how much power the graphics card requires by itself. If have pair it with a power-efficient processor, and use SDD instead of HDD, you could squeek by with your 180w PSU.

Likewise, you could underclock either your CPU or GPU, so it will run slower, but also use less power.

Thanks man, I actually am looking at field replaceable units for my pc and it lists a gt 720 as "ok" which I would figure would require just as much power as the 750 lol... now i am even more confused...
