.SCR file may be on my Mac, I don't know
I accidentally clicked on a link from this friend I added ages ago, becuase I thought It was an image. then it downloaded something, I didn't open it, and I researched the file type, .scr. It turns out it is a virus , but it is apparently not dangerous on mac, is my mac safe? If it is not what should I do? Please help.

Yes, your mac is safe. SCR is the Windows SCReensaver binary file format. So it can't work on your mac. Just delete the file and that's it.

In the future, don't click on every link that is presented to you, you never know who sent it. It may have been the account of your friend, but he wasn't in control of his account.
