Hitman absolution help

When i try to start hitman absolution an error pops saying that the file buddha.dll is missing. The question is if the file is missing from the operating system or from the game itself?
What should i do?

You don't even own the Game and as far as I know, this Game requires Steam to be installed and played so it kinda makes me think you just pirated it.

That DLL file tends to pop up rather often in connection with pirated games.
Buy the game you cheapskate.

I actually got the game as a gift on a pc dvd and it did not require me to install steam, though I already did have Steam installed so...idk.
Anyways, I'm new with Steam so thanks for the help about the game forum :)

The original DVD version still requires Steam.

So the version you got gifted is not a legitimate copy.

Like I said I already had Steam installed, but you may be right i have no idea.
Anyway I will just get it from Steam and hopefully it will work.
