Steam in-home streaming wont stream the game

Hi, i can't seem to get steam to stream my games to my laptop despite it being able to start the games remotely on my desktop. I tried disabling the firewall on both pc's but that didn't change anything.

I am very much open to the idea that i am a moron and is missing something obvious, i am not a clever man.

i fixed the issue, it was the firewall
