Help, Preparing to launch Loop -- No games will start.
None of my games will start suddenly. Most appear to be some form of "Preparing to Launch" Loop... but some don't even get that far. I'm at wits end. I have 14 games on Steam, none of which I can play anymore.

From forum searches I have discovered that most people run into this at some point. But most it seems to be a simple restart or other to fix. Nothing has worked for me. At this point, if I can't get it to work, I'm going to have to be done with Steam because it has become useless. :\

Would appreciate any fresh insight into the issue:

I've tried:
-------------------------------
Restarting Steam
Restarting my computer
Shutting down my computer
Reinstalling Steam
Reinstalling Game
Removing all mods / DLC for Game
Removing all save files for Game
Deleting clientregistry.blob (which doesn't exist for me)
Deleting /appcache (which does exist for me)
Trying to play offline
Unchecking the Steam Cloud syncing
Unchecking the Steam overlay
Disabling my Anti-Virus
Removing my Anti-virus
Removing all programs on the List of Programs that Might Interere with Steam
Adding -SteamSkip(whatever it was) to the launch options
Verifying Game File Cache
Tried changing compatibility settings for executable
Tried launching Steam as Adminstrator
Updating Windows
Updating all drivers
Individually installing third-party dependencies (DirectX, etc)
Shutdown every background application and removed them from Startup via msconfig

Seems like you already tried a lot.
Maybe try this: https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=8043-EUJN-5239

Thank you, Baum.

I literally just tried this after posting. Every background application (not essential to windows) closed / and removed from Startup via msconfig.

So you can run all your games now?

No I cannot. Still the same issue. I added this to the list of what I have tried in my original post.

Since you've really tried a lot, I would suggest to submit a Steam Support ticket.

Oh, and just to be very sure, try this again: https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=6218-USFX-5568

How do I submit a ticket? And yes, I've tried everything on that list multiple times already. There is something substantially broken.

I don't actually have an option to submit a ticket when I go to that page. All it does is redirect to a page with an endless menu of topics to select from. I don't have an option to directly contact support. And that is what really bothers me about this and makes me feel like I need to give up on Steam. :(

Just open Steam through the browser and you should see the option 'Support' on the top of the screen.
