Steam won't redirect me to paypal

I'm trying to purchase a $49.99 item and I have most of the money in my steam wallet but not enough for the tax. I have $52.04 in my steam wallet.

It says...
"In the event your Steam Wallet balance doesn’t cover the full cost of this transaction, you’ll be asked to cover the remaining balance due with a secondary payment method."

So I owe like $1.07 for the rest and when I click paypal and hit continue, it won't redirect me to paypal. Instead I get and error message saying...
"There seems to have been an error initializing or updating your transaction. Please wait a minute and try again or contact support for assistance."

I don't know what's going on buts it's p1ssing me off... HELP!!!

Open a browser and log into paypal whilst the steam sale page is open. Once logged in try the process again.

If its not working for you then you'll have to keep trying or contact steam support.

I tried contacting them first actually, but they keep insisting check this check that. Though I've checked everything they told me to check and nothing.
I think the redirect link is broken or something, I don't know.
