Microphone and Circle Appeared.
I have noticed that recently I have a couple of boxes have appeared in my bottom right corner of my screen when playing Steam games. One has the symbol of a microphone in it and the other a circle with an arrow. They seem like overlay items but even with Steam Overlay switched on I cannot access them or click on them. When overlay is switched off they are still left there inert alongside each other almost touching.

They do not appear to do anything except block out any game buttons beneath in the game beneath them in the same place. The items do not appear when playing any games which are not Steam based, and switch off when I exit the Steam game I am using. They show on the game's homepage where single player/multiplayer etc can be selected.

Has anyone any ideas as to what is causing this and if I can in fact switch them off or move them and how to because they serve no purpose it seems and are now rapidly becoming an annoyance.

Turn off Nvidia Shadowplay, this isnt a steam overlay issue.

Open GeForce experience. Under General settings, click the 'Share' tile in the middle part of the page, and simply toggle the slider off. That will remove the two icons on the bottom right.

This thread was quite old before the recent post, so we're locking it to prevent confusion.
