Why am i having to redownload 37+ gb again?
Downloading hitman last night, got to roughly 25% left it at that. Restarted steam this morning and it is now downloading again at 0%
Even though i have a 60gb folder in my steamapps.

Any ideas? I found a couple of 'solutions' on the net but nothing seems to fix

Ok so when you download pretty much anything, its fragmented. Only when the entire thing in finished downloaded, does a program accually see it correctly. When you cut a download off in the middle, steam may nit always see what you have downloaded and instead starts from scratch. It sucks on larger downloads.

Yeah, thats pretty dam inconvenient especially since games aren't 5gbs now days.

you can try one thing go to steam/steamapps/downloding/and copy 236870 folder to desktop then rename it to Hitman™.
then delete your download from steam now copy that hitman folder from desktop to steam/steamapps/common folder and install hitman in that location it will discover old files and download which left.

That was the fix i tried, dont think it worked. oh well
