Delete some unneeded stuff.
After clicking that it'll take a few moments for windows to go through the process of telling you what can be cleaned up.
Anyway...
*everything* in Disk Cleanup is safe to delete, altho by default not everything is checkmarked. So go through the list and checkmark everything. If you want to go further.. click the "Clean up System Files" too.
After that more check boxes should open up (where you check marked things above).
Click those new items too.
If you read all-the-words you will see a spot where it tells you "Total amount of disk space you will gain" from doing the clean up.
Then click "OK" at the very bottom.
It'll ask if you're sure you want to delete all those files. Say "Yes".. then wait for Windows to do it's thing.
Sometimes you need to reboot to get the full benefit of doing this, but even without rebooting you should still be able to free up a lot of space.

Note, the one checkbox i never bother picking from "Disk Clean up" is the one called "Thumbnails", because Windows will literally just create those all over again soon as you open a folder on your computer with image files in it or other media files which display previews. So deleting those is only helpful for a short while. But you can still do it.
if so, use usb drives or sd cards for them.
