op... what game are you looking to purchase that has that type of processor as a requirement?
you have a win OS 64bit, correct?

As you can see AMD CPUs are the only option below $125~, starting at $70~. Different CPUs may require different motherboards, chipsets and sockets as well as DDR3 or DDR4 RAM which are not compatible with each other. Intel i5 is also generally a quadcore but there are exceptions.
So if you already have a motherboard and or or RAM you may wish to consider a compatible CPU. Of course in some cases you may still get better price and performance by upgrading your motherboard and or or RAM at the same time.
So if you have a system that you would like to upgrade please list your current specs and budget.
If you would like to build a new system I just need your budget and target specs, like if you want to play Astroneer or other specific games.
