Games with high Ram usage?
Have been using Wallpaper Engine (Really awesome little tool for animated wallpapers, do go and check that out, 100% worth it, I love it) and saw it used about 30% of my ram. I have 16 total, so a little under 5 gigs of ram. But whats the most ram intensive game out there? I want to run a test using this app running in the back while playing a ram intensive game. Would love to see the pushing point of this.

I think JC3 is supposed to be RAM hungry, I don't own it, but apparently it needs a lot.

I own it, so I'll give it a shot. Thanks

Quite a few recent games have seen system RAM usage surpasses the 8GB mark, but not necessary mean it's the game itself using that much. But you're already in the 16GB sector so you should still last a while.

I guess the point of this was not that I am worried about 16gb, but rather what I can push using this software.

Witcher 3, Just Cause 3, Watch Dogs 2, Mafia 3 etc. Basically all the latest open-world games eat RAM like breakfast when maxed out.

Mafia 3 does it just because it can, but will try these, thank you.

I lied to you all, usage is closer to 5% and maybe 10% at highest, the 30% was from 8 hidden chrome windows.

More importantly, is the animated wallpaper program directly accessing the GPU for rendering? If not then the impact is way smaller than you originally have imagined.

I don't see a cpu hit, but I do see a small hit on ram. It might be using the gpu, but I can always scale that down. and it is set to turn off when programs are opened like video games, that utilize full screen functions. So basically it only works when on the desktop or using small apps
