Are you experiencing the same issue with another keyboard? Are you using a PS/2 keyboard or a USB keyboard? Which Operating System are you currently running? Do you experience the same issue in Steam Big Picture?

Haven't tried another keyboard (Cause I don't have one). Not using a PS/2 keyboard, I'm using a bluetooth keyboard (Mac). Operating System is Mac (Can't afford a PC). and I don't experience the same issue in Steam Big Picture. (But I like it without the Steam Big Picture)

Definitely a Steam related issue on Mac operating systems. Unfortunately I can't help you since you're using a Mac.

Well, thanks anyway.
I'm having the same problem - the number three key and number five keys are not entering anything. The zero key jumps the cursor ahead several spaces, as if a tab had been entered in a word processing program. I too am using a MacBook Air laptop; FWIW, keying in these numbers on my iPhone seems to be working fine.

Thank god I'm not the only one.
Maybe:
Go to your system preferences and select speech, then text to speech at the top. Uncheck "Speak selected text". That should solve your problem.

The "Speak selected text" seems to be already unchecked. (Still having the problem)

Try the first answer here:
https://discussions.apple.com/thread/5220240?tstart=0
There's also a red answer on the bottom of the page: Accessibility> Mouse & Trackpad >uncheck Enable Mouse Keys
the first answer is oudated (Which mean it'll not work) cause I'm using macOS Sierra Version 1(zero).12.1. and the red answers was already unchecked (again) and Three doesn't seem to do anything/work and my L (Only on Shift) (Copied and pasted that captial L from a website) won't work. (So pretty much more problems and still not fixed)

Since I can't find any other related issue on the Internet I guess it's a Steam Only issue, not fixable through any Mac-related tutorial. You can either wait for a Steam update or tweak/reinstall your Steam.
