Using Raspberry Pi as Download server

Hello Community... is it possible to use a raspberry or any low powered linux device to download steam games / updates?

i'd love it if my raspberry could just download everything during the night when the internet is idling instead of beginning to download X updates and Y new games when i start my computer and want to start playing a game instantly. this way i could have a virtual download speed of the full 1 gbit LAN (only had to sync the steam library, done)

i hope somebody got some tip on how to do this. it would be more than enough if i could download games from my library for my pc on another device that is not running windows.

Since it is running linux it might only download linux versions of the games that have a linux version.

you have to use your windows pc to download everything and then move the files over to the linux pc.

You should be able to do this using SteamCMD.
